Have a great weekend everybody!

Anne-Marie > So Zippo…

Wadda you think of the photo I took from you the other day?

September 21st
Anne-Marie > They work hard for their money, so hard for their money ;)

I've finally figured out what was wrong with my camera, another lesson learned:
do not play with buttons if you do not know what they are meant for...
Somehow I flipped the mirrors, and learned after a few days
to just press the release button again and all things are back to normal...duh!
Photo treament: Downloaded preset for Lightroom B/W old 1 can be found here :

Off to catch up on many dailies!

August 11th
Anne-Marie > Not a superb photo, but one that I think deserves to be a daily.

The story behind this photo:

“Children should play more outside.
Everyone knows that it is better for them.
There are so many advantages, think only of the physical health of the children.
But what exactly holds back the children to play outside?
Is it the society, computers or is it the parents who stop them from playing outside?”

This thought comes from an action group who calls themselves “Actiongroep Speel”
(action group play)
They have been putting these “little beaches” all over town
trying to get the attention of parents and their children
to go outside and play more often!

July 5th

p.s. hope you all had a great 4th of july and have a good weekend!
Anne-Marie > I made this photo a while ago.
I didn't like the original, so I played around with it in Lichtroom,
and I just love how it turned out.
It's just like a drawing in a drawing in a drawing.
Recovery 100%,
Fill lights 100%
and Black 100%

October 25th
Anne-Marie > Almost invisible.

July 16th
Anne-Marie > Okay...I'm cheating just a little...just do not have the time today to take any shot so
my daily is one taken yesterday.

Have a great weekend everybody!

20th June
Anne-Marie > Well here it is…

I promised to show you the $ 126,692 piece of art funded by our town-council.
In front of you, you can see a fried egg, followed by more fried eggs.
In total I think there are about 13 fried eggs covering the town square.
Guess I’m not allowed to judge modern art, but I think this is ridiculous!

Thank you so much for the kind, fun and encouraging words you left as comments
on my 6 days travel in de Harz Dailies.

They mean a lot to me.

Have a nice day!

Anne-Marie > Day 2

After hours off walking around, hills up and hills down
(felt more like mountains to me)
we found this little spot overlooking Bad Grund, Harz Germany.
Breathtaking!

@ Art Hill…our hotel was just behind yesterdays daily,
still in the process of sorting them out.
Will post the photos of the hotel,
which we fondly named the “Norman Bates Hotel”,
shortly!

p.s. thank you all for the welcome backs!
